OUR JOURNEY
We are Powertalk, a panel discussion event founded in 2018 by Naomi Glay, former Ms. Liberia USA 2018 and current realtor. Our mission is to facilitate open and transparent discussions on socially sensitive topics that are significant in today's society.
Our platform addresses a wide range of subjects, from creativity in fashion to critical issues like sexual abuse, financial literacy, and the impact of physical limitations on mental health. These discussions create a space for experts, influencers, and participants to share insights and perspectives, fostering meaningful conversations.
Recognized by publications such as Sheen Magazine, AJC, and Medium, Powertalk is committed to promoting understanding, empathy, and positive change within communities. Our events aim to create a supportive and inclusive environment where attendees can learn, share experiences, and contribute to important ongoing conversations.
